Last week was pretty significant for me. I turned 25 and released a new album, Felicities of Expression. I've been pushing myself the last month to reach this goal, and unlike most artists I know, I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. :) I know certain things could be technically better, but the raw aspect of it is what I like.

The record wasn't just something to put out with my music on it. It's a personal journal that follows the events of my life in the past year (though some of the songs were written over 3 years ago).

The most important result of this CD is that it reinforced my love of music and collaboration as a way of connecting with people. And the outcome of that is always pretty great.

Perhaps things don't always go as planned, but I have no regrets. I only have gratitude...and now, a finished album :) Woohoo!
