We were at a celebration with the Widows Program in Mgyuai, Malawi. The women were performing a skit to show all that they had learned from our AIDS education program the previous few days. Then we joined them in dancing and singing (they love to dance and sing in Malawi). We held hands and they taught us their songs and their dances, and there was such joy in that moment. The kids in the doorway are some of their children and some of the local orphans that the widows help to care for. They were not allowed inside but they still wanted to be apart of the celebration even if it was just singing and dancing from the doorway.
