Does It Inspire You?
Yes
A darkness,
Deep inside the soul,
Intensifying, growing,
Sharp and painful.
Waiting for someone,
Anyone who can,
Speak my worth,
Who am I?
Worthless? Voiceless?

Then they come.
Lasting or not,
"You're a good person."
Beautiful illustrious light!
The darkness fades,
Even for one instant.
Then the clouds roll in.

Universal truth,
Denied by none,
Rarely acknowledged,
In the depths,
Where darkness fades and grows.
Where warmth spreads and thaws.
Where pain intensifies and recesses.
Like a strobe of light.

Lost in the strobe,
I know,
I'm a jerk,
With only a hope for reform.
To speak light,
Glory.

To receive from Him.
To live outside the line,
In the space between,
Where glory resides.
"...if we don't get that love and respect, we feel very sad or angry because we know that our glory is at stake, that if there isn't some glory being shone through us by somebody who has authority we'll be dead inside, like a little light will go out and our souls will feel dark, like nothing can grow there."
