This was a mural created during the Raza Day Conference held at Stanford on April 10 sponsored by MEChA de Stanford. The theme for the conference was The World, The Valient, The Dream which was illustrated in this piece. The flags in the lower left represent the start of the Chicano movement with the UFW strikes, which transformed into an educational movement currently being pushed by MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan) and the overall dream of a higher education.
