Lauren's Backdrop What is this?
How was it?
It was decent. It was the 4th or 5th Irving book I've read, and I'd put it about 2nd (behind The Cider House Rules). Parts of it dragged more than I'm used to from him, but the chapter describing the family's rehabilitation after the accident is one of my favorite single chapters of all time.
How was it?
There were some unfortunate problems with the animation, but other parts were visually stunning! Johnny Depp is simply wonderful. And it's a story that's hard to beat.
Why?
With all the coffee I drank during the dissertation writing, I become a coffee snob, preferring espresso-based drinks to drip coffee; then I switched to lattes, but I've increasingly preferred less milk, in part because it's not always possible to get a fat free latte in Britain. And all British cappuccinos come with chocolate sprinkles on top!
Why?
They are the embodiment of happiness!!
